These refurbished Piggery Barns are set in lovely gardens surrounded by beautiful countryside. It is a peaceful and relaxing environment to enjoy a well earned rest. The Piggeries are two semi detached buildings offering fine, contemporary interior design in their own landscaped enclosed garden, mature. The Piggeries are identical cottages that offer spacious and delightful light triple aspect open plan living/dining room with French doors and a large kitchen area leading to a sitting area with wood burning stove for cosy evenings. A boot room/large utility room is off the kitchen area and is ideal for coats, muddy boots and dogs to dry off. The open plan area leads down a corridor to three large double ensuite bedrooms, all bedrooms have ensuite shower/bath, sink and toilet facilities. All bedrooms have doors opening onto the garden, ideal in summer months to wander outside to enjoy the morning sunrises and alfresco breakfast on the terrace. The Master bedroom has a kingside double bed and the other two bedrooms have double beds that can be made into twin rooms if required. A sofa bed settee in the lounge for additional guests if required. On request we can furnish the property with a cot or additional Z-Bed.

Payment – This rental can only be paid for in advance via bank transfer, by a cheque. Or by Debit Card, all Credit Cards carry a 2% handling fee.
Up to two dogs are allowed. Dogs are chargeable at £50 per stay per dog. Smoking – The Piggeries are No smoking properties.

Cancellation policy:
If you pay the full balance on time, you will receive a partial refund.
50% refund of the total cost if you cancel at least eight weeks before check-in. 25% refund of the total cost if you cancel at least four weeks before check-in.

The Dorset Region

Situated on the edge of the village of Corton Denham, The Piggeries occupies a secluded spot with a sunny outlook and commanding views over the Corton Hills and beautiful surrounding countryside. Corton Denham itself is a peaceful village benefiting from its own award winning pub just half a mile away. The village has good access to other villages, including Sandford Orcas and Rimpton. Sherborne Town is 4 miles away and boasts a variety of unusual shops and stores, alongside an Abbey built in AD705 and Sherborne Caslte built by Sir Walter Raliegh in 1594. Nearby is Haynes Motor Musuem and Yeovilton Air Fleet Museum to enjoy. The Dorset Jurassic Coast is a 45minute drive to the south and to the North are the cities of Bath and Bristol both an hours drive from this location. An abundance of National Trust properties on your doorstep to enjoy, some all year round whilst others are availalbe from April to October. Opportunities for walking, riding and cycling are plentiful in the area and the location and accommodation offer plenty of space for a peaceful and private retreat.
