-Rooms

Arriving and departing

Check-in is from 3pm on the day of your reservation, please feel free to arrive earlier for lunch or a drink and we will try to check you in as soon as we can.

Check-out is at 11am, please ask prior or on arrival for a late check-out if required, we will do our best to accommodate this.

Moving or cancelling a booking

Should your plans change, and you wish to change the date of your reservation then please either send us an email or call and this will be moved to another available day free of charge.

Cancellation before 14 days prior to the arrival date is without charge, a full refund will be given within 14 days of arrival should we re-sell the room. 

Overnight

We do not have a 24-hour reception however should you need assistance between midnight and 7am there is a number for a duty manager in your room. We do have CCTV and alarms activated during the night.

Some of our rooms are above the main pub, these rooms can experience some ambient noise that is unfortunately unavoidable with an old building. We will always be mindful of our guests above early in the morning and late at night.

- Restaurant

Allergies and preferences

We understand that everybody has likes, dislikes, intolerances, and allergy’s, all the food served at the Queen’s arms is freshly prepared and from a known supplier. Please inform a member of the team of your preference or requirement.

Connectivity

There is free WIFI for all guests at the Queen’s Arms, please ask a member of staff for help connecting.

Mobile signal is patchy in the village, should you wish to use our pub phone please contact a member of the team.

Smoking

Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside the pub, there are ashtrays provided on the terrace at the rear and the side of the building.

Parking

We have public parking at the front pub and further private parking to the side of the pub for rooms guests however we do not guarantee a parking space on arrival. 

Should there be no available parking spaces when you arrive, please park in a sensible location near the church being mindful of villagers and access to their homes.

We dop not take responsibility for theft or damage to vehicle while in our parking spaces or parked in the village.

Electrical charging

We have two tesla (type 2) charging points at the front of the building, these are free to use to our guests although we do prioritise our room guest in the evenings to ensure they have enough charge to continue their journey in the morning.

Dogs

We welcome dogs to the pub inside and out although please bark in mind that not all of our guests will be dog lovers.

Our Coach house rooms all accommodate dogs, room 6 is our designated room however both 7 & 8 can both accommodate dogs at a small cleaning charge.

Children

We are a family-owned pub and welcome children of all ages; we do offer a children’s menu although we do ask parents with children dining in the evening to ensure children under 9 have left the restaurant before 7:30pm.

Vouchers

Vouchers can be purchased form the pub and are redeemable within a calendar year from the purchase date.

Disabled access

The ground floor of our pub is easily accessible, we have a disabled loo which will be made available when notifying a member of staff. (The key is kept at the bar.)

We have a bedroom which can be accessed except for one step, the team will do anything necessary to help should any of our guests require a little extra assistance.
