Polly is the creative founder of ThisPollyanna. Simply put she is a life coach and designer who believes the most important creative project you will ever work on is designing a life that you love.
Having quit her position as Operations manager for an international fabric wholesaler, when she become a military wife, Polly followed her life long love of personal development and trained as a life coach. Alongside her coaching Polly also trained as a listening volunteer for the Samaritans.
Polly was named Pollyanna after the book and film Pollyanna in which the little girl plays ‘The Glad Game.’ Just like the little girl in the book Polly was brought up to always look for the silver linings in every situation. But life has NOT always been a bed of roses! Stories of which you will hear about in this talk and how those experiences have shaped where she is now and how she teaches.
During this fun session Polly will explain the benefits of cultivating a positive mindset but also alert you to the potential pitfalls that can work against you! Get ready to increase your resilience through the power of positive thinking.
You will come away from this talk feeling uplifted and inspired with a fresh perspective of what fortune surrounds you and a better understanding of how your mind works and how you can learn to control your thoughts in a way that benefits you.
